About Shakeride
Shakeride was built because the industry can certify an engineer without ever watching them work.
What we believe
Readiness is observable. It is not a feeling, a job title or a year count. Put someone in front of a system that is failing and readiness stops being a matter of opinion within about ten minutes.
Realistic means broken, not simulated. A guided lab teaches the happy path of a tool. An environment that is genuinely broken, with misleading details left in, teaches what to do when the runbook does not apply.
A score is only useful if it says what to do next. A number with no direction attached is a grade. We are after the sentence that follows it: this is the kind of failure to practise before it finds you at work.
How rides are built
Every ride starts from a failure that happened. It is rebuilt as a live environment, given a symptom and a clock, and validated by engineers who solve it before anyone else sees it. If it cannot be solved from the symptom alone, it is not a ride yet.
