Certifications tell you someone understands the cloud on paper. They say nothing about what that person does when a release stops serving customers and the dashboards make no sense.

A Shakeride ride puts them in that situation. On the day, it looks like this:

  • a release went out and the site is now down
  • a background job started refusing every request with an access error
  • the site is slow for users, and every dashboard says everything is fine

Whether the person can actually get out of them, and how they do it, is what a ride measures.
